Welcome to Graceful Beginnings. My name is Trinity and I am so glad you are here. I am located in Boise, ID, but serve women all over the Treasure Valley and even beyond. As you look around, my hope is that this website feels like grabbing coffee with a well-known friend. I want you to know that there are women who want to invest in your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. As a home birth doula, my goal is to be part of your community. I don’t want to just be someone you hire rather I want to get to know you and really come alongside you in this special time.
I do intentionally limit the number of births I attend to not only protect my own mental health, but to make sure that I can show up to for you fully during your birth. Being a doula is much more than a job, it is part of my calling to serve women. If you are interested in having me as part of your birth team I would love to connect and see if I am a good fit for your home birth.

What sets you apart as a doula?
Food: call it nutrition or delicious, a huge priority for me is to nourish every mother that I am serving. I believe food can heal bodies, hearts and souls that is why every single birth package includes food.
Same Season: I am right here in the thick of motherhood with you. I am just recently coming out of a postpartum season and I remember exactly what it is like to be in the thick of newborn life. I want to come alongside you as a sister and learn and grow with you.
Faith: I am first and foremost a servant of our Lord and Savior. He is the reason I am doing this work and all of the glory goes to him. If you want your doula to be praying for your birth, reading scripture over you, and speaking truth into your life, I am your gal!
Exclusively Serve Home birth Mamas: As of right now, I am only taking home birth clients for two reasons. First, while I believe every and any type of birth can be used by God to bring his glory down to earth, I believe that birth is best left undisturbed and that is very difficult to accomplish at a hospital. You can read more about my beliefs on birth here. Second, I don’t actually have experience with hospital births. I have only ever had a home birth and all of my training has centered around home birth, therefore I feel I am best equipped to protect and serve you at home, though I will follow you in the case of a transfer.
More than just a doula: My goal is to not just be your doula, my goal is to leave our time together as friends. I want to get to know the details of your heart and really come alongside you for this pregnancy, birth and postpartum. God has called me to serve women and I think that is a much deeper relationship than just a doula.
